Hi! I'm Dennis Nichols, currently an Associate with Booz | Allen | Hamilton working on the CDC NWSS project.
I hold an MPH in Global Health from Emory University and am a US Navy Veteran.

I've worked previously as a public health professional and contractor for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during two separate periods of employment.

My work at CDC across 3 years touched on data science & engineering, wastewater surveillance systems, environmental microbiology, project management in water and sanitation reasearch, and quality improvement of basic water quality testing laboratories.

Investing in continuous education is very important to me.
In between my 2 stints with CDC, I decided to upskill and learn programming because I wanted to increase my impact in the fields of environmental health, climate technology, and/or renewable energy.

As a former nuclear reactor operator in the US Navy, I bring systems thinking, experience in multidisciplinary teams, and an ability to work in environments with a demanding operational tempo to any role.
